Abstract
This 7 year old patient had lens extraction under general anesthesia. Pre-operative general condition was within normal limits. Cardiac arrest occurred during eye manipulation. Oculo-cardiac reflex was the probable etiologic factor of cardiac arrest. Cardiac resuscitation was done immediately after cardiac arrest but the patient died after 20 hours.
