Abstract |
Tracheal perforation during intubation of the neonate is a rare event but may have contributed to lethal complication.
We have had experience with a case of tracheal perforation which probably resulted from the trauma of too vigorous an attempt at orotracheal intubation for cardiopulmonary resuscitation of a newborn infant delivered by C-section. |
